welcome to the seventh instalment from my book: Reflections. Hope you like it. 🙂
I Want To Write You A Song
I want to write you a song Of the love we know
I want to write you a song
Because I love you so much
My baby
I want to write you a song
That the birds can sing
Because my love for you
Is flowing like a stream
To the River
I want to write you a song
With a melody
And such harmony
That it could only bind us
Together
My love for you
Will always be so strong
And I know I could never
Write it all into a song
No not ever
Not ever
No Never
I want to write you a song That can never lie
I want to write you a song
That will never die
Through the ages
I want to write you a song
That has a magical touch
And it will be your song
Because I love you so much
My baby
My love for you
Will always be so strong
And I know I could never
Write it all into a song
No not ever
Not ever
No never
I want to write
You a song
That’s written
From my pen
I want to write As I look
Into your eyes
And then
I want
To
Love you
Most of bit. There’s a small section on ‘places’ and another small section on ‘things.’ But love is still a central theme. 🙂

Oh, how sweet! What a romantic poem, like loving someone so much that you have trouble expressing it all.

So touching and romantic, Kevin, as a song and poem. ❤
