Sewerby

I was looking through some photos when I came across some of the very first taken by and of Pat and I on one of our very first outings shortly after we started going out together.

The pictures below were taken at Sewerby which is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England approximately 1 mile north-east of Bridlington on the North Sea coast. Sewerby forms part of the civil parish of Bridlington, and is home to one of the East Riding’s most popular tourist attractions, Sewerby Hall.

Lucky for us there was a jousting and archery event going on at the time which made for a really good day out. The pictures show two separate jousting events, an archery event in between, the coastal region between Sewerby and Bridlington and of course one of Pat and I in our prime… Lol

  1. It looks like you had a lot of fun, Kev!
In my area there is a Medieval Faire that takes place every year. It runs on weekends from August through October. I haven’t been to it in years, but seeing these photos makes me want to go back again!
