It’s been a busy years since my return to the blogosphere back in March last year so I though I would recap some of the highlights. First and foremost I would like to give a very big THANK YOU! to those who invited me as a guest over at their own digs. Among those are:
Mae Clair who was the first to welcome me back to the blogosphere after my very long absence.
da-AL was very kind when she invited me over to talk about my little soul mates: Aragorn & Rico.
Norah Colvin inspired me to reminisce about my school days!
Sue Vincent invited me for a guest post to talk about my books… And,
Sally Cronin enticed me to write a special tripartite post on reviews over at her place!
In addition to this, I’ve had several guests visiting my digs and all of these can be found under my category: Book Talk & Other Guest Posts which is located in widget area.
When I first came back to blogging I started out by posting many of my old book reviews I had posted on Amazon. After that I started posting new reviews. I purposely focused on indie authors whose work was new to me. So in a lot of cases I was in new territory… New genres, new styles of writing, new topics… In some cases I felt quite out of my depth and comfort zone as a reader/reviewer. It is this that inspired me to do the tripartite post on reviews over at Sally’s blog. (See above)
Anyway, although I did enjoy the books I read, I’d like to finish this recap by presenting three of the books I found to be my most intriguing reads for 2019 in no particular order:
Zoo of Human Frailties by Dale Green
The Gemini Connection by Teri Polen
While The Bombs Fell
Thanks, da-AL! π
